Other journals

You can submit your PCI-recommended articles to any journals accepting preprints as submissions. Some of them may consider PCI evaluations, others won’t. Therefore, if you submit your PCI recommended article to such journals it may be worth mentioning the PCI evaluation in the cover letter.

Warning! The following journals are not friendly to PCI because they do not accept preprints recommended by PCI as submissions:

-Behavioral Ecology
-Cladistics
-Journal of Animal Science

Journals not using PCI evaluations

These journals “will not use the reviews posted in PCI but will seek [their] own reviewers”

-American Naturalist
-Royal Society journals (except RSOS)
